PIGGY EAR COOKIES

When I think of my childhood, whenever I was bored and in need of a snack, I would go to a shop nearby and buy these cookies. Its crispiness is unrivaled. It is made by mixing wheat flour, butter, egg yolk, unsweetened milk, lemon juice, and coconut milk. The dough is divided into two parts with the ratio of 6/4. The smaller part is mixed with cacao powder to make the brown color. Continue dividing both parts into smaller parts and rolled thin. Put the layer of brown on top of the white layer and roll into tubes. Repeat until all the dough are used. Put all the rolls into the fridge for 2 hours then cut into thin slices. Use a pan with some oil to fry the slices until golden on both sides. Once done, drain the excess oil on the cookies. It is better to enjoy cooled with its crispness.
